BE PART OF THIS CHANGE IN NIGERIA. ORGANIZATION PROFILE NIGERIA MASSES PROJECT, WHAT IS IT? Nigeria masses project (NIMAP) is an enlightment and educative movement founded in October 2009. NIMAP was established as a necessity to change the people’s erstwhile perception, concept and understanding of leadership role through seminars, public enlightenment campaigns and workshop, providing leadership for diligent, disciplined and God fearing Nigerians. The organization was born out of the necessity to bring positive change by ensuring steady and progressive development of socio/cultural integration/interaction in Nigeria; encourage better understanding and cooperation with stakeholders, leaders of thought and other like goodies. MOTTO For a better Nigeria SLOGAN NIMAP!!! Nigeria masses must be liberated. We are sure to get our right For a better Nigeria UTY To establish projects that will sustain the integrity of our Nation and foster unity and cooperation among the people. For an accelerated economic and political development, using talk show conferences lectures, seminars and rallies as tools in achieving this desired objectives or goals. TARGET AUDIENCE Nigeria masses project (NIMAP) will work with the masses in general. Children or adults, students of working class, old or young, regardless of social, religion, gender and ethnic affiliation. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES 1. To educate the Nigeria masses on their political rights in a democracy. 2. To work towards a credible free and fair election where the votes of the electorate must determine who wins in any electoral contest. 3. To support any credible candidate contesting for any elective position in Nigeria by aligning the power of the masses behind such a candidate. 4. To mobilize the Nigeria masses in a way that popular participatory democracy begins to replace imposition of candidates by political godfathers and caucuses to the detriment of the people. 5. To pressure governments at all levels to put the masses first in their policy formulation and implementation. VISION 1. A greater and harmonious Nigeria, where everyone will work in the spirit of teamwork and partnership for the realization of a common project/goal. 2. NIMAP aims at educating and enlightening the general public, on socio-economic and political developments in the country. 3. To be a movement through which a persistence, sensitization will be decimated to the entire populace, of this nation towards making this country a better place to live. MISSION 1. To initiate project that will transform Nigeria. 2. NIMAP will serve as a forum for exchange and cross-fertilization of discourse and formulation of policies. Capable of enhancing the integrity and overall well being of Nigerians. 3. NIMAP will challenge political leaders, religious, traditional rulers and leaders, through to the realization of greater Nigeria, by mobilizing and galvanizing the masses for effective democracy and good governance. ACTIVITIES Reformatory aesthetics, conferences, Rallies, seminars, guidance and Counseling. Indeed, this is to redeem the near moribund or lost dignity of our nation. By sustaining peace, love and development through dialogue and special welfare programs for the people. COLLABORATION / PARTNERSHIP NIMAP will partner with other stake holders, non governmental organization (Ngo’s) .Government Agencies; private and corporate bodies etc, to achieve its aims and objectives. OGRANISATIONAL STRUCTURES AND MEMBERSHIP 1. Every Nigeria is a member; irrespective of your class, religion, age, or gender. 2. NIMAP is headed by President/National Coordinator with its national office at Abuja (FCT). NIMAP shall maintain offices at the six geopolitical zones in the country, with six zonal Coordinators. There shall be state Administrators of 36 states of Nigeria including Abuja and Resident officers in charge of the 774 Local Government Areas in the Federation.
