Economic growth is not an end, but rather a means to an end.

         

Nigeria is a country with a magnus population of over 150 million,and have negativum to take advantage of it's population for economic development.

Other countries like China and India had used their magna -um poplution to the advantage of thier economical development.

We all know that economic growth is not an-finis, but rather a means to an-finis.Economic auctus is premised on the concept of increasing quantity,  it could be more productive to frame the issue in terms of economic development.It is certin that economic development looks at auctus as a means of unavailing a higher level of individual and societal well-being. Whilst economic growth is about quantity, economic development is about quality.

A well developed economy is one that meets people's needs and provides well-being for everyone. Where can we proudly say today that Nigeria fits in? You can only talk about Nigeria when it comes to Corruption by the leader's,ethnic hatred,Boko Haram Killing of innocent Nigerians, Religious fanatics,election promises unfullfiled,looting of public treasurery,maladministration and missapropriation of public funds etc.

There is no way Nigeria can achieve economic development without being based on the collective good which is ultimately about creating more value for every living soul in Nigeria.This present ledership must wake up to the reality on ground and make sure that the poor Masses of this country have a better living condition.

It is still very fresh in our mind that in 1990s agricultural sector was the focus of intense development,with food self-sufficiency the goal.

It was the subject of separate delvelopment plan involving the public and private spending concentrating on the family farmer.This program included price stablization and schemes to revitalize palm oil,cocoa and rubber sectors.

But what can we say today,the government has left agriculture and put all dependant on oil,which has created more problem for Nigerians and it's economical advancement. The oil which the government depend on, can not be said to be well managed.

The integrated petrochamical industry which was a priority in 1990s,using the output of the nations refineries,such as Benzene,Carbon black,and Polypropylene for more economic benefits has been a faluire.The development of liquid natural gas  was expected to lead to the production of methanol, fertilizer, and domestic gas to make Nigeria a better economy yet all this where faluires.

Even the  Nigeria's refineries are operating at less than optimal rates.

President Goodluck Jonathan should proof to Nigerians that he is capable of transforming Nigeria since he,made the word "tranform"a cardinal point towards effecting good governance to the people of Nigeria.

Nigeria must be better.

Who is afriad of Sovereign National Conference and why?
It is very distinct, that what Nigeria needs today to address it's problem 
is nothing but Sovereign National Conference.


The country pretended to be practicing a federal system of government,whilst it is perceptible that there is no place for fiscal federalism as should be practised.
Be that as it may, we must convoke SNC Nolens-volens because;the acerbity today warrants it,those who are afraid of Sovereign National Conference are very Mayopic and short sited,to say the truth they are the once who do not want the coperate quiddity, of Nigeria.


To convoke SNC dose not mean brakeing up Nigeria,rather it is a sign to show that we are truly ready to solve our problems on our own way and to bonify Nigeria.There is nothing optimal in today's Nigeria.
The problem of Nigeria is not just constitution amendment,if you like amend the 1999 
constitution (1000) one thousand times,if the ethnic nationalities that made up of Nigeria dose not feel committed to the Nigeria Unity,more killings,agetations,religious 


crisses and other vices will continue to rear it'z urgly head.
This government must agree to the convocation of a Sovereign National Conference now,if truly the want transformation of Nigeria.

COMRADE,WHAT HAVE YOU TO SAY ABOUT THE SATE OF THE NATION IN NIGERIA TODAY? 


Nigeria today is worst than the period of Nigeria Biafra war. We have never seen worst leadership than what we are seeing in Nigeria today.
The government has turned atrocitas to the people who elected them,They have attero the ecomomic power of the masses. A country where a religious sect is stronger and more organize than the president of the country. A nation where innocent christains are killed in the place of worship and the president,will tell you that it is the situation we will live by today till it frizzle away.


President Jonathan I love him as person but I disagree with him on the way he is handling the ntional affair. In his watchful eyes Nigeria is fast packing up,I am telling you if nothing serious is done before ending of 2012 a country called Nigeria will become history even before the prediction of the American people of 2015.
I must tell you that I am one of those who support unity of this country,but must not be with the blood of the Igbos or christians in this country. Every body must be part of the peaciful cohabitation,no section must be sacrificial.
I am dedico to the unity of this country. 


DO YOU THINK THAT THE PRESIDENT IS NOT DOING MUCH TO STOP THE MADENESS CALLED BOKO HARAM? 


To be sincere with you the president has never done much to stop the aberration,he might claim to be doing his best but I am assuring you that his best is not good enough to bring back security in Nigeria. The impetuosity is incresing as day passby.
That shows you that he is not capable of being the president of this nation He can not handle the situation.Any president who can not stop a group like Boko Haram is not fit to be the president of this nation.


This country needs to have collectedness to attract investors from abroad. This contumacy or monomania as we have today in Nigeria headed by Boko Haram will lead Nigeria to no where. Nigeria is in a state of wingding,ruckus. I will advice Mr president to step down and allow a capable person to take up the mantle of ledarship of this nation,before he captined Nigeria into exitosus.


Tell me while a good leader will remain there, whilst innocent christains are killed all over the northern sates, yet you see him sits like nothing is going on, this is a shame to the part of government. 


WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE OIL SUBSIDY? 


That is another fraud and evil against the oppresed people of this country.
This government want to perpetuate fraud against the people of this country. Can this government tell me wether they will not succeed, as a govenerment if they did not add morehardship to the people of Nigeria by way of removing petroleum subsidy.I must tell you that this is another idiocy and obliquity by the part of this government.


I must tell you that this government lack ideas,there are one thounsand and one ways to generate funds without puting more hardship to the people of this country. Today,you must agree with me that Nigerians made mistake by electing Dr. Jonathan as a president of this country though I saw it at the begining, I made people closer to me to know that,Jonathan if elected the president of Nigeria he will leave Nigeria worst than he met it and that is where we are heading to right now.
Anybody telling you that removal of oil subsidy will have a better effect to Nigeria economy,that person is telling gibberish and nothing but hogwash. 


PEOPLE SAY THAT NGOZI OKONJI IWUALA IS THE ARCHTECT OF THE FUEL SUBSIDY?


That could be true,but what ever is the out come of the subsidy removal lies on the head of the president. The last buck lies on this table. As a president of this country you will receive different advice from those working with you,but it is let for you to know the right part to follow. Look at the protest going on as a result of fuel subsidy any listining president must understand that the people who elected him are not in line with his subsidy therefore he should swallow all the pride and dump the oil subsidy into a trash can,or in a durst bin of history. Is he waiting ; when his security opperatives mould down all the innocent masses who are protesting,to seek for their right.


Nigerian people has right to good governance,they have right to better housing,good health care system,good roads,better education,stable eletricity,portable drinking water etc. Tell me today among all this the one you can say that we have in this country.
Former leader of Libya Gaddafi, before he allow leadership to becloude his sense of reasoning,he was a very good leader to his people.


If Libyans cannot find the education or medical facilities they need in Libya, the government funds them to go abroad for it – not only free but they get US$2,300/mth accommodation and car allowance In Libyan, if a Libyan buys a car, the government subsidized 50% of the price the price of petrol in Libya is $0.14 (N22) per litre. Libya has no external debt and its reserves amount to $150 billion – now frozen globally If a Libyan is unable to get employment after graduation the state would pay the average salary of the profession as if he or she is employed until employment is found.
A portion of Libyan oil sale is, credited directly to the bank accounts of all Libyan citizens A mother who gave birth to a child receive US$5,000. That is what is called good welfare system by any caring government.


The looter's who call themselves leaders in Nigeria denied our people to enjoy all this good benefits when we have what it takes to give the people of Nigeria the best leadership. Insted the loot all the public funds to their own private pocket and still move the street of this country free men and women.


AS A PRESIDENT AND NATIONAL COORDINATOR OF A SERIOUS PRODEMOCRACY MOVEMENT,NIGERIA MASSES PROJECT- NIMAP,YOUR MOVEMENT IS NOT LEADING ANY PROTEST IN RESPECT OF FUEL SUBSIDY WHY?


Thank you very much for that question,as you have rightly said we are not taking part in any of the protest for now; but rather we are perfecting our own strategy in which way we can reach the masses of this country to drum to their ears on how to be responsive to what happens in governance. We are trying to use more civilised way and more pragmatic way to carry out our protest. We dont just want to do protest for the seck of it,but we want to carry out actions that will be very effective and bring in the desired change in this country. I salute the courage of fellow comrades who are doing the protest they are doing a good job,our mode of protest will complement what ever action they are taken now.
Right now,we are trying to nominate state coordinators of NIMAP,in the 36 states of the federation including Abuja,as soon as we complete that,we shall come out smoking.


COMRADE SIR,WHEN ARE YOU COMING FINALLY BACK TO NIGERIA?


By the grace of God am coming back very soon than you may think.I have almost concluded all my transactions here which has been delaying my coming back,I must confese am home sick now,and must be back as soon as practicable. My members in NIMAP wants me back today and tomorrow.

TO RULE IS EASY,TO GOVERN DIFFICULT.

When the Nigerian government between year 2000 and 2007 begin to encourage the private sector to invest on crude oil refining, and 22 licensees awarded to some private investors for the construction of new refineries, people thought that the government were sincere.  Up till this moment non of this private refineries has been able to commence any thing in that respect, in building any refinery, they have a compounded problems if it is not government unfavorable business condition, it is lack of financial resources.

As we are talking about that, this government raised our hope to build Greenfield Refineries in the following states Lagos, Bayelsa and Kogi,it is quite sad that there is not sincerity in the part of government. This government has been footdragging on this issue of Greenfield refineries.

The government is shifting their responsibilities to fuel subsidy, falling to put the old refineries to working condition, to build new once or to encourage private investors to build refineries, that could meet the demand of daily national 32million litres per day consumption, instead of the present low production capacity of 445,000 barrels per day.

This government lack idea’s or do not have the willing power to implement idea’s,they are just ruling and not governing,to rule is easy,but to govern very difficult.

WE SAY NO!

This government is like an empty head;

which not really empty,but head filled with insensitivity or stuffed with rubbish.

Hence the difficulty of forcing reasonable thing into the empty head.

WE SAY NO TO OIL SUBSIDY,WE SAY NO TO EPILEPTIC NATURE OF ELETRICITY, NO TO BAD ROADS,NO TO ANYTHING LESS THAN #18,000.00 NAIRA MINIMUM WAGE, TO THE CIVIL SERVANTS. If this government is not ready to lead they should get out of the road,for those who have the vision and the mission to lead.

THE NIGERIA POLICE ARE AT IT AGAIN; THE SECURITY OF THE NATION IS IN DISTRESS AND NIGERIA IS DESPAIRING.

It was just on the 1st of Nov. 2011, I wrote on the arrest of three Policemen who allegedly participated in the killing of 25-year old Emmanuel Victor, at the Sani Abacha Expressway, Yenogoa, Bayelsa State, on Sunday 16th October, 2011, for commenting on the extortion of money from commercial motor cyclists, popularly known as Okada. Earlier on, I commented on the killing of two brothers born of the same mother and father by the Police, at Okitipupa in Ondo State. Till now, the investigation of these two separate killings of three young innocent men has not led to any known prosecution, in spite of the promise of the PPRO of Bayelsa Police Command, Mr Eguavon Emokpae (DSP), to make the outcome of the orderly-room trial of the killers of Emmanuel Victor, known to the public.


As if that is not bad enough, The Nigeria Police are at it again. Only yesterday did the Vanguard report the killing of a 78 year-old Pa Amos Oriyomi, Baale of Bamgbelu Parafa Community in Ikorodu Local Government of Lagos State. According to the report, life was snuffed out of the septuagenarian, Pa Amos Oriyomi on Thursday, 10 November, at 5. 30 pm, shortly after his last super with some visitors, who came to see him.


This unfortunate incident of the killing of Pa Amos Oriyomi would make it the third time I am writing on the atrocities committed by our Police who are paid from the coffers of the Public Fund to protect lives and properties of Nigerians. This year alone, the Security Sector alone (Military, Police, Internal Affairs Ministry, Police Reform, etc) got a mind-boggling appropriation of N1052 billion, which is about 35% of the total Federal Government Budget. What Nigerians are getting from this jumbo allocation, is wanton destruction of lives and properties. These are three extra-judicial killings by men in police uniform, and a carnage, too many.


When one adds these unfortunate incidents with the killing of over 150 people in Damaturu, Yobe State by Boko-Haram, on the Jumat day preceeding the Eid-EilKabir Festival, it becomes obvious that life is becoming highly unsafe in Nigeria, regardless of the impression that General Owoeye Azazi, the National Security Adviser to President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, would want to give to the outside world, to the contrary.. Could this retired Army General be said to be insensitive to the security situation of the country or is the denial a mere hypocrisy?. Or is this the time to be chasing shadows and engage in grandstanding instead of facing the reality of the security situation with a view to finding a lasting solution to the menace? The truth of the matter is that the security of the country is in distress, and Nigeria is despairing


Only yester-night was one of our sisters Chi Tola was asking the President, on the security of life and property in Nigeria, I jokingly advised her not to rely on the President or anybody for that matter, as nobody could be trusted on the present situation of the country. Rather, I told her to rely on God, who never fails and to continue to chant Psalm 23; 1 &4. Seriously speaking now, I wish to suggest that as an interim measure and pending whichever re-organisation that the Government wants to carry out, the suspected police in the killing of any Nigerian, should be charged to court under Sections 315 &316 0f the Criminal Code. We should stop making them to face orderly-room trial, which is a mere smoke-screen to cover the iniquities and heinous crime of murder, on daily basis as it is being done presently, by the Police. ENOUGH SHOULD BE ENOUGH
